The Challenge
Ashford Capital Partners had three departments pulling in three different strategic directions, each convinced their priorities mattered most. Every leadership meeting ended in disagreement, and without a shared roadmap, resources were split across competing initiatives instead of the firm's strongest opportunities.
How it Started
We began with structured interviews across every department head to map where priorities actually diverged. That process surfaced the real issue: a missing shared definition of success, what we came to call the "Alignment Gap." From there, we facilitated a strategy sprint to rebuild one roadmap everyone could commit to.

Our Strategic Approach
We introduced a unified scorecard system that translated each department's goals into one shared set of company-wide metrics. Combined with a quarterly review cadence, this replaced competing agendas with a single source of truth that leadership could rally behind.
Key Results
Leadership meetings that once ran long with disagreement now close in half the time. Departments that used to compete for budget now co-invest in shared priorities, and decision-making speed across the firm improved significantly.
